LeBron Raymone James is a NBA player born in Akron, Ohio. James was discovered in his high school days at St. Vincent - St. Mary's High School where he was nicknamed "King James" and "Mr. Basketball." In addition to his 29 point game average for his high school basketball team, James was also a football player where he was scouted by college football recruiters.
In 2003, James was first draft pick for the Cleveland Caveliers right out of high school. In his first game against the Sacramento Kings, he scored 25 points, had 9 assists, 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
James has led the Cleveland Caveliers to the NBA Playoffs in 2006, 2007 and 2008. He has played for the United States in the 2004 Olympics (bronze medal) and the 2008 Olympics where the team took gold.
