"Welcome to my world" Song lyrics

  • Dec 29, 2011
Pat Nolan is summoned to Paris told that his daughter, Megan, had been terminally ill and committed suicide.

When Paris detective, Catherine Laurence, shows Pat his daughter's body, he sees that it isn't Megan. He realizes the she has staged her death and must be in trouble and needs him. Therefore, he goes along with the cover-up.

Catherine is told that Charles Raimondi of the Foreign Office is skeptical about the suicide and the cremation that followed. He tells Catherine and her boss that Megan is being sought by the Saudi government about a terrorist bombing in Morocco.

Catherine is ordered to  befriend Pat to see where he's going. However, as she performs this task, she becomes personally involved with Pat and both of them fall into a love that they no longer thought was possible in their lives. She also sees that something isn't right about the information that came from Raimondi and decides to help Pat find Megan, no matter what the cost in her career.

James LePore writes a perceptive story about terrorists and family relationships and lost love. He uses his legal background to mix historical facts to make the story more interesting.

This is a well crafted mystery with richly described characters who are enjoyable to read about. The story flows smoothly and was an entertaining read.
