A Great Introduction To Blogging

I have a few blogs on the internet. I have a couple of websites as well. Blogging has become such a big force on the internet that it can now be used to help with your business. From announcing sales, to a new product, to simply establishing on online fanbase, blogs are here to stay. But what if you've never set up a blog and need to do so? Where do you begin? Well I would start by picking up "Blogging To Drive Your Business," a book that surprised me by how practical and helpful it was. This book makes no judgments on the reader: If you need help starting a blog, this book can help you.

The book explains what a blog is, how it can be used properly, and what you want to accomplish with it. It's written in a very simple manner and features lots of graphics, which I find most helpful for new beginners. Even an old timer blogger like myself was introduced to a few new services that I was unaware of, and now incorporate into my own blogs. If you are an expert blogger this book might seem like old fashioned for you, and you likely won't need the information. But for newcomers and novices this is one of the better books about what blogging is and how to effectively blog I've read in quite some time.

Still, this book does recognize the value of blogging as a marketing tool, so good for them.    They go on to discuss the place of blogging in your overall marketing mix, different types of blogs, ethical and legal issues, …
