Another Triumph for Ted Dekker

  • Jun 23, 2010

I have read almost every book Ted Dekker has ever written and each one seems to just get better and more twisted than the last. The Bonemans Daughter is about a father and a daughter, who are estranged. The daughter is kidnapped by the Boneman. A serial killer on the hunt for the perfect daughter. But he has yet to find one and all his vicitims are killed by breaking all their bones while they are still alive.

This book has action, suspense and a great emotional tie in. It also has a twist at the end that will just leave your head spinning. Well done, Mr. Dekker.

For those who enjoy mystery, suspense, thrillers and the battle between good and evil, this is the book for you.

Nowhere near the emotional impact of the Black trilogy. :(

A serial killer who could be a few different men is dormant for two long years. It may be because the man who's been convicted has been placed behind bars, or maybe because he is yet uncaptured and fighting terrorism in a desert across the world. Or maybe the man is waiting and stalking his next victim.       Bizarre twists and turns keep the reader wondering, doubting and riveted. Plenty of horror and bursts of adrenaline will keep any Honken Chicken Club members …

BoneMan's Daughters by Ted Dekker is a cringe-worthy, hair-raising thriller. Ryan Evans has spent most of his adult life devoted to the Navy, at the expense of his relationships with his daughter, Bethany, and wife, Celine. When he is captured and tortured in Iraq, he realizes how much time he wasted with his family and returns home to make it right. But after sixteen years of abandonment, both Celine and Bethany are more than willing to move on. Celine with the handsome district attorney, Burt, …

Ryan Evans has served his country well as an intelligence officer for the navy. On the other hand his role as a husband and a father has been lacking at best. After a narrow escape Ryan vows to return home a better man for his wife and his daughter, Bethany.      Meanwhile in Austin, TX, new evidence has come to light regarding the capture …
