A Story for Both Men and Women!

I love all of the Twilight books, inluding her new book about the life of Bree. Breaking Dawn is my favorite of all her stories because it has most love story out of all of her books, and the most action. It is a book that even caught my husband's interest. I would say this book has the most level of imagination. I do hope they figure out a way to make this story a movie because it will make all the Twilight fans happy. Another interesting part about this story is that it is written from two perspectives rather than just one character's mind.

Breaking Dawn: Ending With A Bang

I begrudgingly began reading the Twilight series when my sister did not come out of her room for an entire day because she couldn't put the book down. A Conclusion well worth waiting for

At last, Breaking Dawn is out in paperback. Eclipse convinced me that this series was getting more absorbing with each new book, so I was eager to get my copy of this but unwilling to pay hardback prices. It was worth the wait. Basically Lacks Bite

Stephanie Myer's tween vampire series seriously lacks real bite. I just can't wrap my head around a vampire who doesn't follow the traditional "rules." These vampires are not easily killed. They are not melted in sunlight (though the sun does have a peculiar effect on them). They, at least the Cullen family, doesn't have an unquenchable lust for human blood (they hunt wildlife instead). Disappointed yet again

After reading the first book I was excited to continue reading this series, and book after book they let me down. Progression & Maturation

The difference between Twilight and Breaking Dawn is staggering; in the years (and books) between the two, not only did the story of the Cullen clan and Bella Swan become more refined, but Stephenie Meyer’s writing style did as well. The Saga Ends.

I couldn't wait to read this book. When I had the third part of the series finished, I had to see where everything was going to lead, so without thinking, I rushed out and purchased this book. awful!

This book, and the series as a whole, is awful. The writing is completely juvenile, and while I realize it is a pre-teen targeted book, I still think that the quality of writing is sub par. I have read books designed for a younger audience, both fiction and non, and I think that JK Rowling and many others set a better example for quality writing. BREAKING DAWN, the hotly anticipated fourth and final book(?) in the bestselling crossover teen vampire series Twilight, wraps up some very important questions in the gripping and wildly romantic story of Bella Swan. Split into three sections, one of which is narrated by werewolf Jacob Black, the story opens with Bella driving along, thinking about her impending wedding to Edward. Although it seems that she's about to get exactly what she wants, Bella has no idea what lays in store for her: a near-death transformation, an all-out vampire war, and many painfully divided loyalties. Though there has been some debate how well the final volume of the quartet stands up to the others, it's undoubtedly a fast-paced, edge-of-your-seat read. Shades of the Darla story line in the popular television series ANGEL are definitely in play here, as well as hints of dark gothic romances and even modern young adult fiction by the likes of Garth Nix, Holly Black, and Scott Westerfeld.
