Faking It by Jennifer Crusie

Matilda Goodnight is not your average art forger.

Matilda Goodnight is in a rut, she hates painting her mural sized reproductions of the greats, but someone has to pay the mortgage at her families art gallery. She has many secrets that keep her from relaxing, ever. But then she meets Davy Dempsey while trying to steal back one of her paintings. Davy is just what Tilda needs, someone she can finally confide in and also turn her life, and the gallery around. It is a funny book, with a lot of mischief and a few good romps, oh and a few bad ones too.

Jennifer Crusie does not disappoint, and this book is no exception. There are cons, gallery openings, and burglaries, and despite the trouble the characters sometimes find themselves in, you are always rooting for them. She even throws in a sister who suffers from multiple personality disorder- by choice!

I love Jennifer Crusie for her ability to write love stories that are funny and enjoyable to read. Her characters are real, they could be someone you know, and that is what makes them so funny! The sex scenes do not disappoint either.

Davy Dempsey is back from Welcome to Temptation, and he is a very likeable character. His cons are so well thought, and I love that he uses them for good instead of to scam people. Ok maybe he is still scamming people, but it's for the women he loves!

Faking It by Jennifer Crusie
Faking it is another great light romantic comedy by Jennifer Crusie. I loved the characters, and the dialogue was witty and sparkling. The book reminded me of screwball comedy movies. Her characters are believable and fun. Great book and I would suggest buying it because you will want to re-read this book again and again.
