I loved these books in middle school. I recently reread one, I'd forgotten what good cheesy fun they are. I liked Christopher Pike books better thought.

Cheesy and get kids to read but lack substance and thought provoking issues. Fun reading guilty pleasure if horror and gore is your style.

R.L. Stine is a great author. He reminds me of Stephen King, a little bit.
