"Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend." Martin Luther King, Jr.

  • Apr 6, 2012

Nate Romanowski had been in a Special Forces unit and observed something he'd rather forget. Now the person who ran that unit wants to make sure that no one can reveal what occurred and Nate is a target.

In the region of the Bighorn Mountains, three local men make an unsuccessful attempt on Nate's life. When their bodies are found, it stirs up a local uproar.

Nate realizes that the only way he can get his former superior is to go outside the law and knows that his enemies will try to get to him by using his friends.

It is interesting to follow Nate as he travels through the picturesque mountains in Wyoming and surrounding areas.

Nate and his friend, Joe Pickett's paths cross as they lead the reader through an adventurous mystery. In addition, we are given good lessons of life on the appreciation of loyalty and friendship and the results of betrayal.

There were a few loose ends left for future episodes of this series. I found some of the action predictable but overall found this to be an interesting and enjoyable read.

They’ve deployed.”   Now the battle has begun and has come in an unexpected form. Lucky to survive, Nate can’t make any more mistakes. Not only does …
