Healing God is a channeled work resembling that of Neale Donald Walsch's Conversations with God. However, whereas Conversations with God covered a wide variety of topics from personal to the world, Healing God focuses primarily on the personal. In particular, this one looks to help us understand our true nature, accept ourselves, and let go of the victim/victimizer/rescuer roles that we all play.
Conversations with God was very profound. It is one of those books that you can read every few years and get something completely new each time. In many ways, I felt that Healing God built upon that work by reminding us to look within. It's so very easy to get pulled off track trying to be everything to everyone and just trying to be a good person. In reality, we can only be ourselves, be true to that nature, and trust that in doing so not only will we be happier but so will those whose lives we touch.
