He asks Andy the ant, Copy the cat, Bonnie the blue jay, Betty the bee, Freddy the frog, Mach the mole, Benny the bunny, Tommy the tiger, Frank the fish, Pete the pig, and Harriett the horse to be his friend, but they all refused. Milo was devastated and hurt. Finally he asks God to help him in his distress. And God gives him a wonderful answer, one that will soothe and comfort him forever.
Overall thoughts: This is a wonderful book with a great lesson. It is a great way of introducing the concept of God to children. Umina shows that it is possible to talk to God and to have a close relationship with him. God is always there for us like no one else. And He could be there as our best friend. All we have to do is reach out to Him. What a great message for kids.

This book is a must for parents to introduce God to their children and more importantly show children that they can openly communicate to God and start a relationship with Him by just talking to God.
