Mind Over Money by Tyson

  • Feb 9, 2006
This book will assist you in planning a financial future. The author asks that we do the following:

- avoid financial decisions until you can plan properly
- be on the alert for gambling foolishly
- avoid detrimental behaviors
- don't be a workaholic
- do not hoard

The author emphasizes good career planning from the beginning.
He asks that we avoid frivolous purchases to conserve cash
for investment purposes. Never approach investments with too
much unthinking euphoria. This will lead to certain losses.

The book advises that we purchase insurance with high deductibles
so that the difference in savings can be invested to increase
the personal financial net worth. In all things, the volume
encourages us to focus on value as a condition precedent to
enhancing our net worth. A strength of this book is that it
teaches the reading public how to plan for the future
and how to build personal equity. The writing style is simple.
