Before you begin a career as an investment banking analyst READ THIS BOOK.  Not only will the story  provide a humerous and enjoyable introduction to your career, but will also provide amusement later down the road when you realize that much of the misfortion you laughed at while reading has actually become a reality for yourself...

If you're not involved in finance, but have a healthy curiousity for the industry, you will most definitely also enjoy this book.

Friedpez--there are some great books out there for successful investing...this book is not one of them. Monkey Business is more of a comedic romp through investment-banking land and offers little in terms of financial advice. I like The Little Book of Common Sense Investing by John Bogle (founder of Vanguard) http://www.amazon.com/Little-Book-Common-Sense-Investing/dp/0470102...

I opened a Roth IRA several years ago but pretty much stopped there when it comes to most of my finance activities. It sounds like this book could be really useful. Do you know how this one compares to the many others offering similar advice?
