This book written by Chaim Potok is a book that has a crappy title. I would not normally pick up a book, let alone if it has a crappy title. When I did pick it (with help and recommendation from my sister) all I had to read was the first paragraph to know that this book was going to be life changing. It is by far one of the best pieces of literature out there. If you are a reader, not a reader, from ages 10 to 110 I recommend this book. It reads fast, the story is amazing, and it involves art. Congratulations Potok you have restored my faith in reading again.
