When stressed out Dr. John Meanham goes on a shooting spree and kills a number of patients and fellow employees, Dr. Lou Welcome is blamed.

Lou had been overseeing his friend, Dr. Meacham, at Physicians Wellness. This organization counsels doctors who have psychological problems and those who over-medicate themselves with alcohol and drugs.

As the story progresses, we observe Lou's compassionate nature while a number of other characters exhibit unexplained anger that, in some cases, prove fatal. We witness a number of events due to this extreme anger and Lou tries to find an answer to why this is happening.

He meets Dr. Darlene Mallory, the President's wife. She is interesting in learning more about this also so they both try to find answers to the mystery.

The characters are realistically portrayed with thirteen-year-old Emily, Lou's daughter, being a charmer.

The plot is laid out nicely with some  interesting twists. I found the book to be entertaining and recommend it to readers who enjoy medical thrillers and good suspense.
