James McGee has lived a life of service, risking his life for the safety of others and contributing to establishment and enhancement of security measures. Before becoming an FBI special agent, he was a wildlands firefighter with the U.S. Forest Service, after which he was a deputy sheriff with the Ventura County Sheriff s Office in California. McGee retired from the FBI as one of the most decorated special agents in the bureau s 100-year history.
