I highly recommend reading Practical Demonkeeping by Christopher Moore. His book tend to contain a lot of humor and crazy situations for his characters. Here we have the main character Travis O'Hearn who is one hundred years old traveling along with a green demon named Catch. Travis wants to do whatever he can to get rid of Catch. When the two settles in Pine Cove, California, Travis sees this as the perfect opportunity to ditch Catch.Moore utilizes various points of view from the characters to help the flow of the story. What I like about this aspect is there have been times where I have often wondered what the characters thought and their reactions to the occurrences that take place around them. I have found that books with one point of view are very well written usually, but if there are certain main characters I would like to know their thoughts as well. Catch causes a lot of trouble for Travis throughout the story and the reader can see why Travis no longer wants the demon around. I highly recommend this book. It is worth checking out. This book is one of Moore's earlier books and is very funny. You will not regret it.

Travis O'Hearn is over ninety years old, but doesn't look a day over twenty five. This is because of his …
