A Quick Tip by woopak_the_thrill

To really, really  appreciate this series, one has to be reading DAREDEVIL for the past 4 years since it fits into its major continuity. Now garbed in black, Matt Murdock is at a crossroads between himself and his beliefs; has he now become the one thing that he fought so hard against? I am at issue # 2 right now. Looks pretty promising, but I still hate the fact that Marvel capitalizes on its popularity to sell other books. Just buy this title and Daredevil and you'll be alright.

Lots of surprises in this series, best Daredevil arc in years. I hear you on the other books, Marvel does that too much with Civil War and Secret Invasion being two of the major culprits here. Loved Spider-Man's line on wearing black.

This was real good, until they went with the "possessed by the beast" again which made it cliche and it lost some of its momentum. I also had issues with Spidey and Wolvie always showing up in these cross-overs. Yeah, Spidey's line was classic and a display of Diggle's talent with dialogue.

Yeah, Spiderman and Wolverine's faces are in too many places and sometimes they don't even feel right. But in the case of Spiderman I been use to that for years. Look at the Marvel Team Up line, he's in all of them except for about 9 books.

Wiki

Following the Events in the pages of Daredevil, Matt Murdock has taken over the Ninja Assassin group called THE HAND. He intends to use them to bring justice to Hell's Kitchen and quarantines this area to keep everyone who doesn't live in this NY area at bay, including cops and authority figures. But is this move the right one or is there something missing in Murdock's soul?

His friends intend to find out, and Murdock intends to do whatever is necessary to maintain power.

Andy Diggle (Hellblazer) writes and Billy Tan illustrates. -written by Woopak
