This book is full of thought provoking information. Lynn Wilford Scarborough is a media guru and lays out her well-learned wisdom in small packaged sound bites and creative pictures.
Her creative breakdown of the aspects of the success of Jesus, as a public speaker, are a unique look at details Bible readers have taken for granted or overlooked altogether. This book would be beneficial for pastors and church leaders to read. It's full of advice and wisdom regarding relationships and dealing with large groups of people who need information. Scarborough's discipleship is obvious in the historic details and doctrinal stance she takes. This is a fairly meaty look at Christ and His followers.
On the flip side. Non-religious folks, especially those in the public eye, should be able to find much wisdom in the simplistic way that Jesus handled many diverse situations. I can't imagine that this is same old, same old teaching. And at worst it would be a good refresher or a different angle on the basics.
Scarborough is amusing and shares much of her own personal experiences to underscore the teaching. Occasionally the humor gets a little cheesy, but cheesy sometimes makes the best point.

Jesus was a brilliant communicator and demonstrated his talents through ordinary, simple language. This work can teach readers how to improve their professional and personal communication skills by relying on the same methods that Jesus followed. (Practical Life)
