When i read this book I really felt like part of club. I felt really excited as learned more about everyone and how the club had ended up happening. I learned how they had despite their different backgrounds, upbringings and their current ways of living brought them so close together.
This is a very exciting book for tweens it shows them the world through their own eye's, it shows common problems how they are overcome, It shows how coming to a new neighborhood is terrifying at first but you make friends along the way. This book really shows the real part of how hard it is going from a child to a teenager how friends sometimes shape how later on we are as adults. I liked all the baby sitters in the club how well they had even though their still young how they organize everything so well and find that taking care of children is no small dell fter all. That while babysitting the kids they learn more about them why and how they are a certain way. I like how they keep diaries of their jobs, so if later someone ends up in the same situation they have an idea of what to do. I really enjoyed this book.

One Christmas I got a box set of the first four books which had just came out.  Since then, I have read almost every single one in the series.  That was about 15 years ago and I am still reading some new ones.  They are a great series for any little girl to get addicted to.       There are so many different stories and scenarios that I would always wait to see what they were going to get into next.  They became like my friends.  The different girls …

I remember getting 'The Babysitter's Club book at a local book store in my home town when I was 13 years old. That day I went home and started to read the book. I didn't realize I was meeting my best friends for the next 3 years. I met Kristy, Claudia, Stacy, Mallory, Jessie, and MaryAnn that day and I still can picture what they look like. These girls became my best friends during my 'awkward' years. If I was feeling down I turned to these girls to cheer me up. I remember staying …

The Babysitter's Club series revolves around seven girls (and later nine girls) who have formed a babysitting agency.  The girls are junior high age.  Some of the issues faced in these books are: children with medical problems, divorce, remarriage, dealing with step-siblings, dealing with emergencies, first crushes, first boyfriends, and dealing with prejudices.  Ann M. Martin handles these issues great.       As the series progressed you learn more and more …

Around about the time I first discovered this book series I was helping my grandmother babysit.  With each new book you felt like you knew the girls personally. I think I even kept a few books. I will see and pass them along to my daughter who wants to babysit to earn money and see what she thinks.
