A Novel of Horror

  • Jul 9, 2010

This is a six book series written in the 90s about a 5,000 year old female vampire who thinks she is the last remaining vampire on earth. She is hunted down by a detective, and after learning that he knows what she is she kills him and goes after his son to see how much he knows about her as well. She enrolls herself into high school, and decides to get close to him. The rest of the story goes in and out of the past where she talks about how she came to be, and she ends up falling in love with him . I would say this book leans more towards young adults, and adults because it does tend to have some graphic sexual moments. This isn't like a Twilight series, though. But I do find that teenagers who like horror, and suspense would rather like the whole series.
The first book sort of opens up the plot to make you better understand the main character, but it's well worth the read. In my opinion as you get through each book it only gets better and better. A must read for horror and suspense lovers.
