Real? Maybe... Interesting read? Absolutely!

  • Aug 2, 2010

The reason why this book seems so unconvincing is that Neil Strauss Legendary Pickup guru guided and edited throughout his biography. I am sure that improved on the books charming nature but really I dont think everything in the book happened the way it did. Its obvious that everyone in his life that he has no use for anymore he makes look very bad in the book.

This book gives alot of the wow factor! I am always at the edge of my seat  learning why Marilyn Manson is what he is.

I would Recommend this book to Marilyn manson fans, people who like biographies, religious people who are not uptight, and anyone with a sense of humor.

The setting is from his childhood home, school, neighborhood ect.  to being a struggling rocker in Florida to his adventures in New Orleans to now

Book basically tells of why he does through long stories... things like wear two different color contacts, where he gets ideas for his songs,  the highs and lows of his life, and what he does for fun.

There are many pictures in the book like the photo that sparked his distaste for Christianity, the photo of Anton Levay giving him leadership of the Church of Satan and so many more funny and interesting photos.

I am a Marilyn Manson fan and Loved this book! Before this book I would not be able to name a book that I truly liked reading. Reading this book is one of the most precious experiences of my life 5/5 stars!

This book, his autobiography, brings you a little more insight into his personal life and personal hell. Behind the make up, music, and glam life Manson now leads, there are plenty of stories to hear about along the way. The book has its’ fair …

Nothing's Shocking
For a character as interesting as shock-rock superstar Marilyn Manson, nothing in his autobiography is shocking.  The story of his life includes many cringe-worthy moments, some sickening, and others that seem almost completely fabricated, but all highly entertaining, in their own weird, twisted way.  There are moments when Manson comes across as a little (or highly) self-indulgent, but anyone who is familiar with his career knows that is to be expected.  Overall, Long …
