I understand that it should be important, but...no. Just...no. I've read it several times, each time hoping to find a new appreciation of it, but I just can't manage to like it. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

This book is great. Samsa is engulfed in the little world he lives in and so alienated to himself that when he finds himself transformed into a giant bug one morning, his first though is that he will be late to work. A must for anyone who wants to see how much of ourselves we are losing every day.
