Curious About Jesus' Life from Birth to Age 30 before His life became public?
May 18, 2009
Urantia is a huge four- part tome. The 1,000 pages I reference are Part IV, The Life Of Jesus Christ. For 40 years, I craved to know Jesus' life from birth to 30 before He started His public ministry. A few years ago, I guess the student was ready, because Urantia appeared. While I was reading those 1,000 pages in an, every spare minute total commitment, I felt like I was there back in the first century. I felt like I was one of Jesus' apostles, that he was talking to me just like he was talking with them. Most important of all, I felt His pain, His disappointment, His frustration. I knew why He went so often alone to pray to the Father. Since I read Urantia, I gave a talk on The Humanity of Jesus, and have continued my ten-year project of writing a book on the Parables of Jesus, that is currently looking for an excited publisher who believes in the project. In the Jesus Introduction of the book, my 10-minute talk on the Humanity of Jesus is printed, to help people really understand that Jesus, God-man, was human, just like us, suffered here, just like us, felt hurt and disappointed here, just like us. He was truly God's gift to each and every one of us.

First published in 1955 by the Urantia Foundation, The Urantia Book was written in the form of a revelation from celestial beings. The writers refer to Earth as "Urantia" and state their intent to "present enlarged concepts and advanced truth" as a pathway to expanded cosmic consciousness and enhanced spiritual perception. The book became a cause célèbre worldwide for its persuasiveness and its wide reach, covering everything from the genesis, history, and destiny of the human race to our collective and individual relationships with God. The Urantia Book proposes a consistent and compelling integration of scientific, philosophic, and religious thought. Building on the world's religious heritage, it describes a sublime destiny for humankind, encouraging a personal, living religious faith as the key to individual spiritual progress. A detailed biography of Jesus recasts the leading figure of Christianity as a guide for seekers of all faiths. This edition has been thoroughly reviewed and corrected by the Trustees of Urantia Foundation.
