   The Velveteen Rabbit is the story written in the perspective of a toy rabbit, and tells the tale of a little boy who receives a beautiful velveteen rabbit for Christmas, which soon becomes the boys favorite, going with him everywhere. At one point the Velveteen Rabbit gets left in the woods near the boys home, and real rabbits creep up to investigate, then prove to the Velveteen Rabbit that they are real and he is not, because they can jump and hop and the Velveteen Rabbit cannot.   …
