Good Vibrations

  • Jun 10, 2010
As an intuitive guide, amongst her many other talents, Sonia Choquette opens up a world of possibilities for those who read Trust Your Vibes at Work and Let Them Work for You. The book is divided into three major segments, ranked from easiest to most difficult: Basic Training, Moving Up, and Rising to the Top. In the Basic Training section, Choquette suggests first setting your intention. After all, it is difficult to achieve your goals if you don’t know what they are. From there, she guides the reader through her other lessons. Several of them may seem paradoxical in nature, such as the tip, “Have the Courage to Stand Alone” and the subsequent, “Ask for Help.” With a personality as bright and flowing as her words, Choquette helps the reader understand how all the parts of her book work together cohesively.
Choquette’s original book, Trust Your Vibes: Secret Tools for Six-Sensory Living was recommended to me. The local library only carried, Trust Your Vibes at Work, so I decided it would suffice. Being at a standstill in my job as a freelance writer, I hoped to gain some good advice at best. Ever since then, I have been raving about how, through this book, Sonia Choquette changed my life. Immediately upon picking it up, I felt an old cliché move through me; it seemed like she was speaking directly to me. She guides her readers into action, rather than forcing them. She takes their hand and leads them through the steps rather than having them fend for themselves. Indeed, reading this book helped me understand my own desire to be an intuitive guide. All I can say is that I’m glad I trusted my own vibes and picked up this book.
