Farmers Field might turn out to be a poor naming decision for SEO purposes, but the prospect of a new stadium and football team in Los Angeles is very exciting. I really hope the plans include some improved commuter infrastructure to downtown.

Farmers Field is a new stadium expected to be built by the Fall of 2015 where the West Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center currently is. The stadium will be developed by AEG and was designed by the ICON Venue Group, LLC.
The event center would be 1,700,000 gross sq. ft. with a retractable roof. Designed to accommodate 68,000 seats, expandable to 78,000 for special events (i.e. Super Bowl). 32,000 parking spaces within a 15 minute walk to Farmers Field are already in operation. The stadium is in an accessible location with access to the Blue Line and the Red Line, with 3 Metro lines and 5 stops within walking distance.
