H&M is a college fashionista’s savior. The store has low prices and great quality clothing. Many stores with low price points often sacrifice quality during production to keep the prices low, but H&M keeps the quality well intact. H&M is a one stop kind of shop as well. They offer everything from on-trend pieces to internship interview worthy ensembles. It is nice to know that you can purchase a lower priced trendy item and not have to worry that you may only wear it this season or that you can afford to look professional without breaking the bank. H&M also brings in great designer collaborations. Buying clothes that a high end designer collaborated with H&M on is like eating a big piece of chocolate cake without the calories!
My only complaint would be that I cannot online shop. They have online shops outside of the country, but we have to head to the actual store here in the U.S. I probably wouldn’t mind if I didn’t attend a university that is placed in the middle of nowhere, but I tend to do more online shopping while I’m at school. Fashionista’s at WIU do frequent H&M regularly though. Many students that I take photos of wear pieces from H&M.
Overall, I think it is a great go to store for college students.
