MAC Pigment in Rose -- Best Cosmetic Concoction EVER

  • Dec 9, 2008

MAC pigment is the greatest cosmetic concoction EVER.  MAC pigments are multi-purpose use highly-concentrated colored powder, meaning they weren't created to be applied to just one part of the face.  This shade, rose, in particular, is a staple in my makeup bag.  Why?  Because it has just enough glitz, and just enough of a tinge of coppery-pink for it to go with any outfit and handbag I have, and for any social setting I find myself in.  Plus, wearing it makes me feel all girly and wonderful :)

Some of my favorite ways to wear this rose pigment:
  • Straight onto my eyelids
  • On top of a coat of black eyeshadow
  • Blended with my lip gloss
  • Blended with my nail polish
  • Dusted on my cheeks
  • Dusted on my neck, shoulders and chest

And there are many more ways to wear it!  The best part?  I've been using the same jar every day on my eyelids, and once in a while, dusted on other parts of my body, yet, it looks like I haven't even put a dent in it at all (I should add that you should practice good sanitary habits if you want to keep it for this long).  I would suggest pouring your pigment into a smaller container and using it from there, which is especially handy if you plan on putting it in a makeup bag and toting it around.  The standard 7.5 gram jar that I paid a bit less than $20 for will probably last me a lifetime.

Totally worth it.

@stephaniezhu I just put a bit of it into clear polish to and stir/shake it up. It adds a little oomph to the top coat! @Bethany_K I've tried plenty of colors, but I keep going back to this one! If you're looking to check out some other colors for yourself, I suggest buying a sample lots of MAC pigment from eBay. There's a lot on there. Or you could always go to the MAC store/counter :P

MAC is by far my favorite makeup company. Have you tried any other colors?
