A&W on the periodic table means "greasy" and "salty"

I don't see many A&W's as much as I used to, but if I see one again, I will certainly go again since it easily rivals Sonic for selection and taste.

A&W's have sit down locations and drive up locations and all feature the usual burgers, fries, chicken and fish selections that you are used to. Cheese curds are even on the menu too. The deserts however are great with the specialty being the root beer flavored ice cream that you can get in the waffle cone. Draft rootbeer can be purchased in milk jugs also to take home and they are great.

When I mentioned salty and greasy in the title, I'm not kidding. The burgers may be tasty, but often the buns are saturated in grease and have a salty taste to them.

A&W is great but I haven't been to one in a while. They may not be the healthiest food, but it does have a selection thats nice to pick from and if you want root beer, you can get some here too.

We only have one A & W here in Rhode Island and I think it has been around since the 1950's. Oddly enough I don't think I have ever been there. Since I love grease every bit as much as the next guy I will have to try it sometime.

I forgot that I think they also have hotdogs too. I normally just go for the double cheeseburger but even the single patty ones are salty and greasy. Thank you for reading.

Drive thru and some are dine in with great but greasy treats. Gotta love the rootbeer flavored ice cream.
