The J. Crew catalog for April, 2010, featuring spring fashion.
< read all 8 reviewsThe first thing I love about this collection is its name. "April Enchanted" excited the little girl in me so much that I was convinced I loved it before I even saw it. I was expecting pastels, lots of tulle, and sparkles. My taste hasn't matured much since I was five...
What I found in this collection though was much more classic and subdued, much to my dismay, but a huge relief to the avid J.crew shopper. Despite my expectations, I still am quite fond of the collection. It's full of great floaty tanks, basic yet pretty tops, and shorts and pants that can be worn with everything. J.Crew always has pieces that have beautiful construction, great fit, and details beyond belief.
The only thing I am not diggin' about this collection is the prints. They just seem a bit blah to me, but maybe the online pictures don't do them justice.
My favorite piece in the whole collection are these "Luxe Terry Un-Sweatpants." I can't even explain why. They are so unlike me, yet I am completely obsessed. Plus, they compliment my post coming up next week on CollegeFashionista.com!
