Excellent movie that did Frank Miller's graphic novel justice. Brisk narrative with great pacing, fluid animation, and voice acting. Recommended.

They did a really good job with these two man, I hope they keep it up like they did with this.

Definitely, I can imagine how some storylines would translate over if they did it like this all the time. Imagine how Sinestro Corps War, Knightfall, and Our Worlds At War would turn out. The stories just go on.

I have to admit I was stunned just how smooth the transition from comic to movie was. I didn't even mind the changes in dialogue since it was good. For some reason I preferred the atmosphere in part one, but part two certainly exuded that tempo that was just right for the adaptation.

I just hope this is a taste of things to come.

if they made such great adaptations from here on in, I will be collecting all of these DCAU animated films. I'll be waiting on your full review.

I been collecting them. And I might not drop the review here. I'm more than likely putting it on epinions. I'm tired of reviewing for like only three people, while I been dropping rates to so many site members over the last few months. I'm not doing that anymore.

I understand. I will reply to your message shortly. Sometimes I feel that way myself, but then I just go back to why I do this. Green Lantern animated series any good? I only saw a few episodes here and there.

It's effecting me a lot more than you because you have a stronger loyalty to this site. A majority of my friends are on epinions so it's more of a joy to hang there, and my loyalty is more to them. One thing I won't do though, is delete my account like last time. I refuse to screw over you and Alex with the rates. As for GL, I saw a few here and there too. But I'm waiting for the next season so I can flow right into it. I'm afraid to get too deep into it, because then I'm going to be hooked like hell.

I think it not more about loyalty--I just got used to it. Besides, Aerin, Brenda and Chris can see my reviews with my FB link so I guess it helps. I hope it becomes availble for netflix streaming. I am about to finish TRANSFORMERS PRIME season 2 (last two episodes)....

I been thinking about linking epinions to FB, which I'm going to eventually get around to doing. I'm a go to sleep right now, and tomorrow get ready for the Super Bowl. I'm not sure if I'll be kicking out any reviews at all, but you never know. I may change my mind and not even watch the game, and just kick out a few reviews anyway. I have like five things I want to review off the top of my head.

A Triumphant Adaptation of Frank Miller's Critically Acclaimed
Frank Miller’s critically acclaimed mini-series/graphic novel “The Dark Knight Returns” had arguably re-defined the Batman mythos. It was such a monumental undertaking that for its storyline to be adapted successfully, one would need to consider a number of certain variables. Producer Bruce Timm and Jay Oliva whetted my appetite with the first chapter (see my review of the first film by clicking here) of their adaptation a few months ago, that I could safely say that it may be …

In the early 1980’s, comics veteran Frank Miller penned what many critics claim is one of the greatest graphic stories ever.  It was called THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS, and it told the story of an old and gray Bruce Wayne.  He’d long ago given up being the Batman – not because of any one reason in particular, though there was an obvious combination of events that culminated in Wayne hanging up the cape – and the streets of Gotham City quickly regressed into lawlessness.  …

Gotham City has become a haven for brutal violence. Crime has gotten completely out of hand to the point where it's no longer safe to walk the streets. Growing frustrated with the criminals who frequent the city, a 10 year retired Bruce Wayne dons the outfit once again as the Batman to save his city from total destruction.      Previous Volume:      Batman: The Dark Knight Returns - Part One         Batman: The Dark Knight …
