You can't go wrong with these fresh holiday scents

I love scent diffusers! I have always wanted to try this chic, safer way of scenting my rooms. It is easy to follow the directions and these diffusers are fun in a way. Everything has its pros and cons:

The two problems with this product.  1). the wooden cap that is supplied would have been neat if it would fit snugly by screwing into the bottle. A person can lift the bottle by grasping the wooden cap creating the whole bottle fall to the ground and that's a no-no in my household being that it's fully covered with carpet.  2). is that the diffusion system that comes with this package doesn't work terribly well. The reed system is messy, any time you need to flip the sticks. And I found that the sticks did not do a very good job diffusing the oil--they would dry out relatively quickly, and then release no scent. In order to keep the smell going, I had to flip them relatively quickly--per flip, in my estimation, they lasted around 2-3 hours.

The scents are pretty decent. I found the "holiday spice" one to be the best--it smelled like gingerbread baking. But the "winter forest" scent had an undertone that reminded me of a Christmas trees and form a pleasant scent. "Candy cane" was a decent smell--sweet without being overpowering and it smells exactly that.

Bottom line: These little sticks are great if you want a party atmosphere for a few hours, but you shouldn't expect to be able to use them full-time in your house.
