Local green cleaner that really works...

Better Life is a small, young company operating out of a St. Louis South City neighborhood (in fact, my own neighborhood), but they're doing a hell of job making products that rival the 800-lb gorillas in the space. They gave me a starter kit of their products, and so far, they're amazing. My wife used the Simply Floored! floor cleaner this weekend. She was really impressed with the results she got, and we both noticed the definite lack of chemical smell... just a light, pleasant odor from some essential oils added to the product.

I'm very impressed by their level of transparency: they break down the specific ingredients for each product on the label. No petrochemicals, volatile organic compounds, etc... just plant-based ingredients, essential oils, and a tiny amount of preservative.

We don't have Better Life products in the comparison engine yet, but that's on my list for today: they're available at numerous online retailers, plus several grocery and home chains...
