Melts in your mouth

I tried this product out tonight
It really IS a warm delight
Dessert served hot, without a mess
In seven minutes, maybe less

Into the bowl you dump the mix
No need for fancy kitchen tricks
Add water - just a quarter cup
Mix it in and stir it up

Squeeze the pouch of caramel
Make sure you squish it very well
Then make a pattern on the batter
Lines or squiggles - doesn't matter

Place it in the microwave
While thinking of the time you'll save
Cook a minute and a quarter
Or maybe just a little shorter

It needs five minutes just to stand
Make sure that you don't burn your hand
Then grab your fork, or grab a spoon
Take a bite - try not to swoon

Chocolate and warm caramel
Giving off a lovely smell
Moist and rich and sweet and creamy
Cooked up fast and served up steamy

After you've read this little ode
Imagine this cake a la mode
Then tell a friend to grab a chair
There's cake enough for two to share

Although not the best cake that anyone's ever had, these mini microwavable desserts are great if you want a small portion-controlled indulgence.  You can make them quickly for yourself if you want a break after a final, stressful day at work, or just want something chocolately.  Besides, the caramel tastes great with the chocolate cake and overall it works if what you're yearning for is something sweet, quick, and delicious!
