Want To Save Alot? Try Shopping at BIgLots!

I remember shopping at BigLots way back when it was called "McFrugals" ( I still kind of miss that name though! ) I have bought everything from furniture to holiday trimmings to pet supplies and food there. Although Big Lots seems to be focusing more on furniture lately, I still enjoy going through the store and picking up deals on brand names socks, slippers and buying unusual gift items. My favorite season at BigLots though is spring time when they bring in all kinds of water fountains, patio lights, planters and other assorted odd and useful gardening supplies ( I am an avid gardener ) They also have some very unusual garden art that is worth checking out.

If you like to save money and like browsing for deals on unusual things you'll want to check out a BigLots in your area. It's well worth the time!

There seems to be a BigLots in every city now - the Fremont store has lots of gardening things and I love going to that one. They all seem to be a little bit different. That's cool that your mom gets her gardening stuff there too!

Yes Friedpez- it was actually called McFrugals! I had the hardest time getting used to the name "BigLots". Sometimes I think these companies make a big mistake when they change names, logos, etc. after a brand has already been established!

Haha, was BigLots really called McFrugals? I had no idea! Down here in LA they were all called Pic-n-Save (hence "Try-n-Save" in the Simpsons). Whatever its name, I love their discounts!!!

Whenever I'm in the mood for anything cheap that I don't expect to last for an exceptionally long time, I stop at Big Lots. Not to say that they're products will break and fall apart easily. But if I buy something from Big Lots and after a year it already shows signs of wear and tear, I'm not surprised.     They're perfect for things like cheap furniture (TV stands, side tables, etc), picture frames, and disposable household goods (paper plates, trash bags, etc). Down here, Big …
