Breasts: everyone has them, so don’t laugh!
Now, not everyone like me is crazy enough to write a review on this topic, naturally! Not anyone would dare to, I suppose. In any case, as I said, everyone has them so it’s a pretty common item. Why then do the word breasts command such a high interest in both men and women? And specifically, women’s?!

Well, they are probably the first thing anyone and/or everyone are attracted to. Is it not the first thing as a baby we all come into contact with? It’s an inborn thing, one that is wired into our systems, right?

So, why the preoccupation with breasts for men and women even as we grow into adulthood and remains for the rest of our lives?

Remember a time when as a girl we grew and one fine day we have this inadequacy as a person because we had to go buy a bra? I can’t speak for men so I’m only speaking from the lady’s perspective. Even as we get used to wearing bras, we (or possibly only some of us) are worried about the sizes! I mean, c’mon, it’s something we don’t really have any true function of until we’re breastfeeding, isn’t it? So, why is there so much attention on them? Well, blame it on the guys, naturally ;-)

Now, if those guys are drooling, then you’re in the exceptional group. For majority of the women, we possibly passed by our days without much thought about them until you get molested or worse, you found a huge lump in them! That’s when you are diagnosed with breast cancer! Even then, I can’t speak from experience, but I do know a friend and others who have had breast cancer and other form of cancers. Strictly speaking, technology and medical advancement have been a blessing for women in that now women with breast cancer do not need to have them totally removed and that breasts could be reconstructed. In the past though, I can imagine the horror of many women having to go through the operation and even after recovery to have to face the world without them. It’s a horrifying thought, even as I reflect upon it now. And for men, what are your thoughts if your wife or daughter has to go through this process? See what I mean?!
So, something as simple and possibly only there for decoration purposes (other than when you breastfeed, that is) can tilt a woman’s life from content to misery. Worse, even the size of them makes you go through life happy or unhappy! Interesting, isn’t it? At the very least, the undergarment industry is certainly making tons of money from women in this aspect! In some “severe” cases, women of all ages may actually resort to having Silicone implants (and may I say, many a times, just to make their husbands/boyfriends happy?! Good gracious!!!)!

As I said earlier, blame it on the men ;-P

still a fun write up, I dunno about women's obessions or vanity about breasts but me as a man, do not like big breasts. I only like a something there (don't like big ones) and I prefer...well...nice nips LOL! (hey you opened a can of worms). I am actually more a leg man and something else so I don't like big breasts really--not specially anyway. I do hate man-boobs though, someone may have them which is why they're peeved at your write up  LOL! Happy Holidays, Sharrie!

About this topic

The breast is the upper ventral region of the torso of a primate, in left and right sides, which in a female contains the mammary gland that secretes milk used to feed infants. Both men and women develop breasts from the same embryological tissues. However, at puberty, female sex hormones, mainly estrogen, promote breast development which does not occur in men. As a result, women's breasts become far more prominent than those of men.
