About this topic

These wire cutters have rubber coating to help with any slippage while using them. When you use these, they will cut the wire flush and smooth with the object that you are trying to trim the wires away from. Once you use these they will spring back so that you do not have to pry them loose. The rubber coating will also help with any protection against any electrical shock that you might get if you forget or do not know whether or not the power is still on. Sometimes you might be dealing with some old wiring and it might not be wired right and even if you shut the breaker off, if not wired correctly you could be in for a bad shock.
