Perfect Spring Break Mani/Pedi

So it's about time for Spring Break, and while many girls are searching for the latest bikini, I have become recently obsessed with nail polish. Well, make that envying nail blogs, specifically alllacqueredup.com. I always took a liking to nail trends (I referenced the super-popular Chanel "Jade" in the fall on collegefashionista.com), but I never really take pride in my own nails.

Having tan skin allows me to wear my favorite kind of colors -- BRIGHT. China Glaze has a great collection for spring called "Up, Up, and Away." It literally is as if I dreamed of my favorite shades and the next day, voila! My ideal nail polish shades have ventured their ways onto shelves of salons.

Four Leaf Clover, a bright aqua-teal shade, would probably be my ideal pick for my toes. Think about them standing out against a pair of chunky brown wedges. Literally to die for.

I love corals and watermelon hues, but I've been trying to be a little more adventurous in my finger nail color lately. To complement the opposing hue of Four Leaf Clover, I think I would go with Happy Go Lucky. I have always wanted to try a bright yellow shade, and I think this one would do my tan justice. Imagine this cute little ring with that in-your-face manicure. Utter spring perfection.

Anyone else have some favorite nail shades for spring time?

Cute. I like the name of this line, too! I don't really change my nail color much by season, just my mood... I go with deep red, burgundy and black, but you may just inspire me to go bright! :)

Up Up & Away sounds lovely! It's Spring again & time to go travel for me :-) First time I heard of this nail polish. With that name, it must be available around where I am. Have you ever tried Shu Uemura's nail polish? I love them. You just reminded me it's time to adorn those sandals again! Thanks!
