Peanuts Coated with Coffee? Really!

  • Feb 12, 2010
Rating:
+1

Just like the can of peanuts says "Peanuts Coffee Flavour Coated". From Thailand.

It is regular peanuts that are coated with some weird candy like shell. Contains 1% instant coffee. It is hard to detect the coffee taste when eating these.

The Facts:

$2.99 for a can, hard to find in regular stores.

Sight and Sound:

CRUNCH CRUNCH. Looks like a M&M Peanut minus the color and glossy coating.

The Taste:

Like a peanut, with an unknown candy coating.

Final Comments:

Seeing the product contained coffee just make me want to get this! Sadly it does not really taste like coffee. It DOES smell like coffee though. The coating and hint of coffee makes this an interesting snack worth trying once.

I've tried this one. I'd recommend the Wasabi peanuts from the same brand though. The one with coffee is not as good. There are plenty in Asia and best when fresh :)
