Fantastic concept, less impressive execution

I already take both CoQ10 and Fish Oil supplements--I take CoQ10 daily, but I only take the Fish Oil 3-4 times a week because the capsules are so large that I tend to avoid taking them. So, when I found a product that would give me these supplements TOGETHER and in a non-capsule form, I thought "This is perfect for me!"

The product comes in little foil packets (about the same size as a ketchup packet from a fast food joint). The nutritional information says that the serving size is 2 packets. Two packets provides 100 mg of CoQ10 and 3800 mg of Fish Oil. According to the package, included in the Fish Oil are 1280 mg of Omega 3 Fatty Acids, 680 mg of EPA and 440 mg of DHA. The product is sweetened with stevia leaf extract vs. sugar, which is good.

Having now tried the product, I still think that the CONCEPT is fantastic...however, I am much less enthusiastic about the execution. The product is pitched as tasting "like a juicy orange." Hmm. Does it have an orange-ISH taste? Yes. But not in my wildest imagination would I ever describe it as tasting "like a juicy orange." I found both the taste and the texture (which is creamy and thick, not liquidy as I had assumed) off-putting.

Since I tend to be a picky eater type, I took a packet to 2 of my friends who have less picky palates. One, like me, found both the taste and texture objectionable. The other said it was "not entirely unpleasant."

If I had liked the taste and texture, I would most definitely be taking my CoQ10 and Fish Oil in this product...but, unfortunately, I didn't like it even enough to finish the box of 30 packets (15 servings).

Coromega Healthy Heart, Omega-3 and Coenzyme Q10 Supplements are an excellent alternative for those who cannot swallow large pills.     Each box contains 30 packets of the supplement. One serving is two packets. One box will last for 15 days. The packets are tiny/small and can easily stored in a pocket, wallet or purse. The packets are easy to open and can be consumed without mess.    I wasn't sure what to expect as far as taste goes. Fish oil tastes, well, …

I first heard about Coromega in the Health Forum here on Amazon. I was intrigued...a fish oil that you eat straight and doesn't taste fishy or have that fishy burp afterwards?     Too good to be true I suspected, but when I saw it at the local Vitamin Shoppe, I figured what the heck and bought a box (it was on sale). I was surprised to actually like it! Each serving is about the size of a ketchup packet. You can either eat it right from the packet or mix it with yogurt or in …
