Dishware
Cost Plus World Market is my go-to store for quick gifts. While the many lotions, frames, purses and stationary are easy choices for the women in my life, I can always pick up some interesting beers, wines, housewares and such for the men-folk as well.    Organization: Some of the larger World Markets can be a little hard to navigate. Cost Plus World Market is a chain of specialty/import retail stores owned and operated by Cost Plus, Inc. The first store opened in 1958 on Fisherman's Warf in San Francisco when Founder William Amthor sold sold some extra rattan furniture quickly and realizes San Franciscans loved this type of merchandise.

After the success of this store, more Cost Plus World Markets were opened across the Bay Area and later into other states. There are currently almost 300 stores spread across 35 states.
