Scott Adams was a genius to create this look at business cubicle life. Those of us that work in this type of environment can generally relate to many of the strips. We all have worked for a pointy haired boss who seems to run things without a clue about what is going on at the same time stifling our creativity. We all have encountered an "Alice", the Pointy Haired Boss' Administrative Assistant who we have to be nice too or she will sabatage our career.
What also makes Dilbert so endearing is that many ideas that Adams uses for his strip comes from the readers themselves. Everyone has their own tale of office lunacy to share and Adams manages to creatively put these tidbits into hilarous print just about every day!
When I get to my desk every day, one of the first things I seem to do is to read the daily Dilbert strip. Dilbert is the true hero (or anti-hero) of the white collar corporate world!
