A Quick Tip by Sharrie

Shangri-la (Xianggelila in Chinese) offers some of the best landscapes in the world and flying into this part of China can only be done from Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan Province. There are at least 3 flights daily and it takes about an hour by plane from Kunming. However, air tickets are quite steep and the best way would be to fly to Lijiang (which is also another scenic area and must see) and then to travel by coach (4 hour drive) from Lijiang. You can then fly back to Kunming from Xianggelila Airport. That way, you get to see the landscapes along the way and to save some money!
