I love trying out new toys for dogs before I decide whether or not to offer them on Camping Dog Supplies. One of the coolest toys I've seen recently is from Kyjen It is a squeaky toy and tug toy combination that's really cool and clever. Both of my dogs (who have very different taste in toys) love them! When I brought it out this morning, it got serious attention for hours before I took the girls out for their morning walk.
It's a long snake with a funny face and a shaker in the tail. They're really long! The 3 squeaker version is 2 feet long, and the 6 squeaker version is almost 3 1/2 feet long.
The expression on the faces are funny and the squeakers continue to squeak even after they've been punctured. And the squeakers are just huge.
Here's what I really like about these toys:
They are almost 2 inches thick, with a fuzzy and soft plush cover
They have no stuffing to pull out! (With a dog like Chelsea, who loves to eat stuffing when she can get at it, this is a huge plus.)
The squeakers are huge and have lots of give in them. And it's not an irritating squeaky sound - they're cute
The tail of snake rattles (and it was hilarious to watch Chelsea's reaction when she first heard it)
Dogs that love to shake toys (which both of my dogs adore) have a grand time because they flop, flip, and fly beautifully.
China ran around the house for 45 minutes just shaking it and making it flop. Then she got to work laying on the floor and chomping the squeaky. This was one very happy girl.
The video below shows how they work and how durable they are.
I like these toys a lot - I'm giving them 5 major thumbs up!
If you've got a tugging dog or one that just loves squeaker toys, these are definitely worth getting -- They last a long time and they're just a ton of fun.

I'd love to hear everyone's stories about the amazing objects dogs find and play with. I thought I'd share a couple of them here that my two have come up with. The inventiveness of dogs always amazes me - and the things they find to play with sometimes have me rolling with laughter. My dogs go to the local park at least once a day, and often find a treasure that becomes the favored toy of the day. This is particularly true of my black lab who is fulfilled … more
I have always loved animals and have been given the gift of being loved back by them. Seven years ago, I adopted an 8-month-old puppy who was starved and mistreated from a local shelter. In learning about … more
