The Only Pair of Pants I Needed for a Month of Traveling

I was heading to Thailand for a month, and I needed pants that would be comfortable for traveling in intense heat and humidity, but also classy enough to wear when meeting new people and attending casual business meetings.

I ordered ExOfficio's ExCursion pants and Nomad pants. I thought the ExCursion fit more comfortably and looked sleeker, so I took two pairs -- one khaki and one black -- in my suitcase. I wore these pants every single day for a month. (Yes, I washed them.)

I highly recommend them because:
  • They were comfortable.
  • The wrinkles fell out when I put them on.
  •  I could wash them in the evening and pretty much count on them being dry by morning.
  • There was a large zippered pocket that I felt I could safely store my passport in.
  • The end of the legs are slit so it adds a little ventilation.
  • They were relatively cool in the hot weather. Even if I sometimes felt sweaty in them, they would dry quickly.
I'll definitely keep these pants for local hikes and far off travel.

I found them at a local travel shop, but I ultimately ordered them from the Website. Shipping is free on orders over $50, and there's a whole range of clothing available.
