Tickets are sold now at Post Offices and appointed banks in China. Best to get tickets ahead of visits.

Crazy Expo!
While the rest of the world is sleeping, the World Expo in Shanghai has been going on full throttle. It officially opened its door on the 3-day long weekend Chinese public holiday, beginning on Labor Day itself. Since then, Expo had seen the number of visitors climbing with a record of 300,000+ last Saturday. It averages about ¼ million visitors per day for the last 3 weeks or so. Expo 2010 (simplified Chinese: 2010上海世界博览会) will be held in Shanghai, China and is a scheduled World Expo in the grand tradition of international fairs and expositions. The theme of the exposition will be "Better City – Better Life" and signifies Shanghai's new status in the 21st century as a major economic and cultural center. It is expected to generate the largest number of visitors in the history of the world's fairs in terms of gross numbers. The expo Logo features the chinese character 世 'world' modified to represent three people together with the 2010 date.

The Expo will take place from May 1–October 31, 2010.

For the first time in history, the Shanghai 2010 Expo will feature a highly sophisticated online version called Expo Shanghai Online.
