In Ireland, Friday the 13th is lucky if you tie an onion to your belt and swing a black cat around your head. In Scotland, it's lucky if it lands on a leap year or in a month defined by Brigadoon. Or something.

Good tip! I wrote one on this too. I found that the Greeks and Spanish consider the 13th of Tuesday bad luck! In San Fran there is no 13th Avenue or 13th Street!

Interestingly enough, in England, the 13th floor of a building is designated as such, unlike here where it is actually used for clandestine government departments or horror movies.
