A cute costume, but it does run big

I have a niece in Burma and, for whatever reason, she's dreamed of having a mermaid costume. I had her go online, and she selected this one. So far, she's been very happy with it.

The dress is pretty much as pictured on Amazon.com, without the green boa. It does come with that pink crown (it's made of foam). That crown was very important for my niece.

My one warning with this dress is that it does run big and is pretty tall. I had heard other reviewers make that comment, but even so I was surprised. My niece is a very tall 5-year-old, and so we got her the size she normally wears, but even that is a bit big for her. If you can, order at least one size below what your girl would normally wear.
