Worth the Hunt!

I absolutely LOVE a good romp through a Goodwill store. From the VAST quantities of clothing available at your fingertips for LESS THAN 5 DOLLARS, to the feeling of charity that comes from knowing that what you're purchasing is helping those who are less fortunate, its an all around good experience!

I must say, I wouldn't recommend furnishing a wardrobe from Goodwill unless you're extremely fashion savvy, you're not going to find modern, quality clothing like you would at your local boutique, but if you know fashion, fabrics and trends, you will have no trouble transforming your Goodwill finds into VERY fashion forward outfits.

Some of my best Goodwill finds include a vintage Coach purse, a Christian Dior blazer, vintage Dooney and Bourke wallet and a small Prada bag. All cost less than 20 dollars each. Can anyone beat that? I doubt it. Its a fashion maven's HEAVEN! Take your time looking, don't get overwhelmed, and VISIT OFTEN! The great thing about Goodwill is they get new things practically all the time, so it's never stagnant.

For a college student, Goodwill is a great option for furnishing your first apartment. I've found beds, couches, paintings, dishes, etc and all for amazing prices!
