I bought a whole set of these at a clearance sale a few months ago.  I had wanted to get rid of my teflon pans for a while but am a total mess when it comes to cooking without them.  The Green Pans are heaven sent.  They work even better than teflon and there are no worries about the potential carcinogenic nature of teflon either.  It's totally amazing how stuff slides off of the cooking surface.  Wonderful!

I just noticed @Pam_Tee wrote a review of these as well. Sounds like a must-have. I went to their website and it sounds like a very innovative company with great descriptions on why their product is essential and healthy. Thanks for the tip!

About this topic

Green Pan is a Belgian cookware manufacturer that is the first to launch PTFE free non-stick cookware. Their slogan: When Green became the standard and not an option.

Traditional PTFE pans are manufactured with PFOA and can emit harmful toxins when heated over 500 degrees Fahrenheit. These toxins can be lethal to small animals and harmful to humans.

The Green Pan does not use PFOA and instead uses Thermalon, which reduces carbon emissions while applying the pan coating by 60%.

In addition the company has reduced their packaging material, printing ink and printing colors.
